As anyone who plays the stock market can tell you, a good investment can make all the difference. Well as it just so happens, the same is true for one of our favorite automakers here at Barnett Auto Group. Because if you're out to corner the new and used car market, you need to spend money to make money. And if the recent investments from Chrysler in their Toledo, OH auto plant are any indication, we see some awfully big profits on the horizon.

When you peel back the business attire and look past our collective automotive expertise here at Barnett Auto Group, the fact of the matter is that some of us here are proud to call ourselves nerds. Because when we're not talking about everything there is to love about our new and used cars, you can bet we're chatting about TV shows and video games around the water cooler. What can we say, we're just suckers for sci-fi, and it only makes sense given our fondness for Dodge.

For a while there, we here at Barnett Auto Group weren't quite sure it would ever end. But now that spring has finally sprung, we couldn't be happier to welcome the sun back into our lives. At long last, we'll finally feel the wind through our hair when we take our new and used cars out for test drives. And with the help of the 2014 Jeep Patriot, the party may never stop.

You'd think that when you spend all your days around new and used cars like we do here at Barnett Auto Group, at least one of us would make out way over to Detroit at some point. Alas, we've grown all too accustomed to the bright lights of St. Paul and Minneapolis to venture to the automotive mecca of North America. Then again, that's okay, because when you've got the 2013 Chrysler 200 on your lot, it's like having a little bit of the Motor City with you at all times.

These days, the CEOs of large corporations don't seem to be doing themselves any favors. Whether they're doing hard time for Ponzi schemes or getting a slap on the wrist for their white-collar crimes, we here at Barnett Auto Group are starting to think we're better off with the new and used cars at our dealership than in a high-rise office making billions. Then again, no one likes getting pigeonholed just because of some bad apples, and if the CEO of Dodge has taught us anything, it's that good CEOs are still alive and well.

With all the time we spend gawking at the new and used cars on our showroom and getting our hands dirty in the parts department, it's no wonder that so many of us here at Barnett Auto Group spend our weekends with mother nature. Take it from us, folks, there is nothing quite like heading to the outskirts of St. Paul and Minneapolis, settling up to a creek in one of our fine RAM models and relaxing the day away with fishing pole in hand. If you haven't tried it, you haven't lived.

Folks, there's something to be said for playing to your strengths. Remember how good Michael Jordan was in the NBA? Who doesn't? But remember how bad he was when he "retired" to play for the White Sox? The fact of the matter is that some people were born to hit three-pointers instead of home runs, and take it from us here at Barnett Auto Group, the same is true with new and used cars.

Remember what mild winter we had last year, folks? Heck, we here at Barnett Auto Group were considering switching to a shorts and t-shirts dress code this time last year. But alas, all good things must come to an end as this beast of winter has so unrelentingly proven. And while there is a time and an owner for all the new and used cars on our dealership, let's just say we're not moving too many convertibles right now.

If you asked us here at Barnett Auto Group what it is about the Jeep Grand Cherokee that we love most, trust us, we could list the ways. Granted, we could do the same for all our new and used Jeep models. But ever since it got redesigned two years ago, we've been flat-out enamored with how functional and fun the Grand Cherokee has become. There's a reason it hasn't changed all that much over the last two years, because when something's this good, you just don't mess with it.

Well, folks, we're officially two weeks into the new year, and you know what that means: the annual sales numbers are in! Sure, it probably means other things, too, but for us here at Barnett Auto Group, it's all about the sales. Like every year, sometimes this means good news, and sometimes this means bad news. And as good as 2011 was for Kia, 2012 put that baby to shame.
